Terms of Use

App: Text Slide – Scrolling Text  ·  Effective date: October 16, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application Text Slide – Scrolling Text (the "App"), provided by Digital Lobby ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

Text Slide – Scrolling Text lets you create and display scrolling/animated text banners with custom fonts, colors, gradients, and themed presets. The basic editor is available for free (supported by advertising). Themes and premium effects require a Text Slide Plus subscription, as described below.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except where permitted by law
• Use the App to create, display, or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes the rights of others
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the App's security, advertising, or purchase-verification mechanisms
• Use automated means (bots, scripts) to interact with the App

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

The App offers two optional purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. They are separate products with different benefits:

3.1 Remove Ads Forever does not include Plus

"Remove Ads Forever" only removes advertising. It does not unlock themes, premium Studio styles, the LED effect, background textures, or any other Plus feature. To use the Plus features, you need an active Text Slide Plus subscription. Users who want both an ad-free experience and the Plus features can subscribe to Text Slide Plus, which includes both while it is active.

3.2 Text Slide Plus (annual subscription)

• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: The subscription renews automatically for one year at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Pricing: The exact price is shown in the App and in the app store before purchase and may vary by region and currency.
• Managing or cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (iOS) or Google Play subscriptions settings (Android). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
• When the subscription ends: The Plus features are locked again and advertising is shown again. The free features remain available. If you also own Remove Ads Forever, the App stays ad-free.

3.3 Remove Ads Forever (one-time purchase)

• Billing: A single payment charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. It does not renew.
• Duration: Advertising is removed permanently for the store account used for the purchase, for as long as the App remains available.
• Restoring: On a new device or after reinstalling the App, use "Restore Purchases" with the same Apple ID or Google account.

3.4 Refunds and earlier purchases

• Refunds: Refund requests are handled directly by Apple or Google according to their respective policies — we do not process payments or refunds ourselves.
• Earlier purchases: Benefits granted by purchases made in earlier versions of the App are preserved as they were granted.

4. Advertising

The free version of the App displays advertising served through Google AdMob. Ad content is provided by third-party advertising networks and is not endorsed by us. No advertising is shown while you have an active Text Slide Plus subscription or if you own Remove Ads Forever (see Section 3). See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising data and your consent choices.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, graphics, themes, and underlying code, is owned by Digital Lobby and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. Content you create with the App (your own text banners) remains yours.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Digital Lobby shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

8. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services (Google Firebase, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play Store) to operate. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and, if applicable, cancelling your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account.

10. Changes to the App or These Terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Effective date" on this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
